Airtel Digital TV – Selecting Channels and Creating Own Package – Airtel Digital TV Self Care App
Airtel Digital TV is one of the leading DTH operator in Behala, Kolkata, India. After the new TRAI rule many people are finding it hard to choose channels. Many people ask me how to select channel in Airtel Digital TV.
Fortunately Airtel offers an easy way to add channels, modify package or make your own package in Airtel Digital TV. To change package in Airtel DTH, first you have to download the Airtel Thanks app. Here is a step by step guide on how to change or modify package in Airtel Digital TV.
Airtel Digital TV Channel Selection
Step 1.
Download the Airtel Thanks app from Google Play store or Iphone app store. Now open the app and enter your phone number that is registered with Airtel Digital TV. Don’t worry, even if you don’t have an Airtel SIM, your number will get accepted. Just remember that you have to enter your REGISTERED PHONE NUMBER.
Step 2.
You will find various horizontal scrollable cards in the Airtel Digital TV self care app. Swipe them until you find the Airtel Digital TV Card with your customer ID written on it. Click on that card.
Step 3.
After clicking on the card, you will find various options. My suggestion would be – click on the create own pack option. You will get to make your own pack.
Step 4.
First, you will be greeted with the customised Airtel Packs. There are many Airtel packs starting from 153 to 550 and more. If you find the Airtel packs unattractive just choose the Rs.153 Free to Air pack and then click the Broadcaster Pack.
Step 5.
In the Broadcaster pack section, you will find various groups of channels curated by the broadcasters. Like in the Sony Happy India Pack, you will find all Sony channels, in the Turner Pack you will find various infotainment channels.
Step 6.
If like me, you want to select channels individually – one by one – click on the ALACARTE section. Here, you can select channels one by one individually. This option gives you the most flexibility. Just remember, do not get carried away, as the more channles you add the more expensive your package will become.
So now that you know how to select, modify and change package in Airtel DTH through Airtel DTH Self Care app, you don’t have to be dependent on anybody.
